All aboard the Nihart express. Today we made Passports (we found them on the great website
www.enchantedlearning.com) for all our many travels and adventures in our home school. We have visited Egypt and explored the pyramids and recently just returned from Giverny, France where we toured Claude Monet's home and reminisced through the garden that inspired many of his paintings. We hopped over to Paris as well to see some of his paintings in the museum.
Brooke is stamping her passport in this picture. Egypt four times :)
This is the picnic we had on the River Ru just outside of Monet's garden. They wouldn't let us eat in the garden because of littering problems.
The "living" book that we read to inspire our French adventure was "Linnea in Monet's garden" by Christina Bjork and Lina Anderson. It was part of our Artist study. We have also studied John James Audubon.

Wow Kimberly! You are such a great mom and a great example! I have been thinking a lot about homeschooling! I will have to pick your brain when it's closer! It's such an advantage for kids to be learning and it sounds like you are all over it! I also love the birthday hats! How fun!
